Liquefying Raw Honey
If you're anything like me, you'll have plenty of uses for liquid honey in the kitchen! Whether it's for cooking, baking, salad dressings, marinades, rubs, or just to drizzle on your toast, it's great to have a good, old, fashioned liquid honey. Because our honey is raw or unpasteurized, it will naturally crystallize and harden over time. Follow the instructions below to liquify your Kitako Lake Honey while keeping intact the health benefits of raw honey!
STEP 1
Bring a pot of water to a boil. Be sure the pot is large enough to submerge your jar of Kitako Lake Honey.
STEP 2
Take your pot of water off the burner, and insert your honey. Keep the temp of your honey under 120 degrees F.
STEP 3
As your water begins to cool take your jar out and examine the contents. Repeat the first two steps until your honey is totally liquid.
